Local and international sensation, Quixotic, will be performing a rescheduled and free concert at Christ Church Anglican on Friday, May 29. The performance will be outdoors; in case of rain, it will be moved inside the West End of the building. There will also be free food and drinks. This event is open to the public and free for all ages.
Christ Church started Sights and Sounds Cultural Events four years ago as a way to showcase unique artists and their work in Kansas City. From jazz music, to choral concerts and other art shows, Sights and Sounds has really made a mark in the community. Christ Church is excited to host Quixotic as their first installation in the 2015 Sights and Sounds series. Quixotic is a local group which specializes in performance art (aerial dancing, ballet, fire dancing, projection mapping, etc.) and has performed at the opening of the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, Union Station’s 100th Anniversary Celebration, and countless other venues around the city and world.
